Renewing your licenses

Renewing your MasterShip license consists out of two step. First, deactivating your current licenses, and thereafter activating your new license. The steps are described here below.

Deactivating your current license

To deactivate, follow the step below:

• Make sure you have an internet connection
• Open MasterShip Software
• SHIPMENU > Licenses > tab 'Dongle info' > click on 'Refresh' and thereafter on 'Deactivate'.
• Your license is now deactivated.

Activating your new license

To activate a license, follow the steps below:

• To activate the license code, you need an internet connection. 
• Close your current MasterShip session, and restart it. At the startup of MasterShip, you will be prompted to enter your license code. 

• Chose 'Enter Activation Code'. In the next dialogue click on 'browse...', and select the license file (.shiplic) that you've received from MasterShip Support. Finally, click 'OK'.

• Your license is now activated. 

Once the license is activated, it is bound to the computer it is activated on. 

Switching computers

If you want to use your license on a different computer, then you should first deactivate your license on the current computer. After deactivation, transfer the license-file (.shiplic) to the new computer. At this new computer, activate the license file.
