Making paper-space views using MasterShip's templates

This section contains articles that are relevant to the use of MasterShip Software

A drawing can be exported to, for example, a PDF-format using the MasterShip templates for the paper-space. The workflow applies as follows:

  1. Open the DWG-file in AutoCAD / MasterShip.

  2. Right-click on one of the layout tabs (paper-space) at the bottom-left of the AutoCAD session. And select “From template…”, and select one of the templates in the company folder. See figure 1 below.

  3. Select the template that fits your situation best; a frame, a workshop drawing, etc.. See figure 2 below.  MasterShip has default paper-space templates ranging from A3 to A0 size pre-configured.

  4. Once selected, you will now see the paper-space. If not, select the according tab on the bottom left. Usually indicated with 'A0' or similar.

  5. Use MVIEW in this paper-space to make one or more views from your drawing in the model-space.

After the paper-space view is finished, you can print your drawing to, for example, PDF-format. Or you can just save your DWG-file as it is, in the DWG-file format.
